JESUS CHRIST ESTABLISHES HIS CHURCH IN 33 A.D. TEACHING:
(All texts taken from Protestant versions)1. THE BLESSED TRINITY -- "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father The Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one."(John 5,7)
2. THE INCARNATION -- "And the Word was made flesh and lived among us&…;" (John 1,14)
3. DIVINITY OF CHRIST -- "Again the high priest asked Him, and said unto Him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed God?" "And Jesus said, I am&…;" (Mark 14, 61-62) "&…; God &…; will come and save you." (Isiah 35,4)
4. REDEMPTION -- "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." (Heb. 9,12)
5. FUTURE REWARD OR PUNISHMENT -- "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." (Matt. 25,34)
6. BAPTISM -- "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." (Matt. 28,19)
7. CONFIRMATION -- "Who, when they (Peter and John) were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit; (For as yet He was fallen upon none of them; only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit." (Acts 8, 14-17)
8. HOLY COMMUNION -- "And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this Do in remembrance of Me." (1 Cor. 11,24) "Wherefore whosoever shall eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord, in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord." (1 Cor. 11,27) "Except ye eat this flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you." (John 6:53)
9. PENANCE (CONFESSION) -- "&…; Receive ye the Holy Spirit: Whose soever sins ye remit, they bare remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained." (John 20,23)
10. ANNOINTING THE SICK -- "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."(James5, 14-15)
11. HOLY ORDERS -- "And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed." (Acts. 14-23)
12. MATRIMONY -- "And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she Depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her Husband and let not the husband put away his wife." (1 Cor 7, 10-11)
13. SIMON PETER AS HEAD OF HIS CHURCH -- "And I also say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall Not prevail against it.
